Affiliate and advertising disclosure

Help With My Elf is a free idea library for busy parents. We are not a store. A few links on idea pages go to Amazon search results in case you are missing a mug or a pack of sticky notes. We may also show one in-page Google AdSense display ad on those pages when advertising is enabled. Ads stay off until then.

Help With My Elf is a participant in the Amazon Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

A single in-page Google AdSense display ad may appear on idea pages when advertising is enabled. Ads stay off until then. No popups, sticky bars, or takeovers. Cookie and ad-network details, including Google AdSense when ads are on, are in the Privacy Policy.

Where the paid links are

Affiliate links appear only in the “What you need” list on an idea page. Each one is labeled (paid link) next to the Amazon link, and followed by this note: Paid link — we may earn a commission if you buy. Household supplies go to Amazon search. Stock the Elf Bin links a specific product only when that ASIN was verified. The North Pole soccer set stays a search. These are not product widgets. They use rel="sponsored nofollow".

We do not use Amazon Native Shopping Ads, PAC widgets, popups, sticky ads, autoplay, or Amazon’s Product Advertising API. Clicking a paid link does not raise the price you pay on Amazon.

Optional Google AdSense display ads

Idea pages have room for a single in-content Google AdSense unit after the setup steps. Nothing in that slot loads — no AdSense script, no pixel, no empty frame — until a Google AdSense publisher ID and ad-unit ID are set in the hosting environment. When they are, we request non-personalized ads. There is no second ad slot, no sticky bar, and no takeover.

This site is for parents and caregivers, not children. AdSense, when it is on, is shown to that adult audience. Cookie and similar-storage details are on the Privacy Policy.
