Sorry I didn’t move, I was busy reporting to Santa

Dear family,

Same seat as yesterday. I know.

I started a report to Santa about the kind things I saw. The report got long. I fell asleep on the page, pencil still in my hand, and the night ended before I stood up.

Santa already has the line that matters: you are loved, and you are trying. I did not need a longer list than that. I needed a longer night than I had.

I will move tomorrow. If you want to help the paperwork, leave a pencil where I can reach it. I will try to keep the next report short.
